For some, I don’t have a lot of commentaries on Paul’s Letter to the Galatians.
For one thing, I haven’t found a lot good ones out there.
So I’m excited about this new one.
Well, for a number of reasons: 1. It’s new. 2. Professor Schreiner is considered a solid Pauline sort of a scholar. 3. Very much interested in his interaction with the New Perspectives guys.
So, I think I’ll be investing in Thomas R. Schreiner’s newest in the Zondervan Exegetical series on the New Testament.

Thanks for this. I read Longenecker’s and it was the only tedious and unenjoyable commentary I’ve ever read. I really need this one.
Jeff
Jeff,
You’re welcome. I don’t have Longenecker’s. But I have F.F. Bruce, could be tiresome too.

T.C can you give some reviews of some of the comments on various passages such as 3:28.
Amos Yong has been doing some interesting research on a Pauline approach to disability and thinks Paul was writing from such a position.
Craig,
There’s a bit of a misunderstanding. I don’t have this one just yet. But I do have the “1 Corinthians” one. Sorry about that.
