Reading the Bible

Since January 2012, I’ve been reading through the Bible.  However, I didn’t take the familiar Genesis 1 or Matthew 1 track.  Rather, I’ve been reading different sections.

For example, I was able to read the Book of Psalms and the entire New Testament for the first sixth months of this year.

Now I’m reading the Historical Books of the Old Testament and the Minor Prophets.  Then it will be the Pentateuch and the rest of the Wisdom Books.

So far it has been an enriching exercise.  Often I get up in the morning and beginning my reading while eating breakfast.

The coolest thing is that the rest of my family get to see me daily in the Word.
