Sex in movies influences teens’ behavior, study confirms

As I’ve said in the past, the devil has taken the media and gone to hell with it.  His sinister prints are all over the media, so it’s no surprise to read the effects of movies, and might I add, TV shows on teens and sex.

According to the Baptist Press, reporting on a recent study:

The effect of media on sexual behavior, the study said, is driven by the acquisition and activation of “sexual scripts.” In behavioral psychology, a script is a sequence of expected behavior for a given situation. A higher degree of sexual media exposure, researchers said, has been found to predict more permissive sexual attitudes.

Adolescents sometimes seek out sexual media, possibly to learn scripts, the study said, noting that 57 percent of U.S. adolescents ages 14 to 16 reported using media as a primary source of sexual information.  (Read More)

May I propose that our homes to return to a Deuteronomy 6:4-9 culture, and quit allowing an American media-driven culture, to raise our children, tomorrow’s future leaders.

The Bible is always right.  It is always relevant.  It is not outdated and belong to past generations as the godless majority in our culture would have us believe.
