Karl Barth on Martin Luther King, Jr.


Apparently the great Swiss Reformed theologian Karl Barth longed for a deeper relationship with the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.: “While unfortunately my relationship to the courageous Negro pastor Martin Luther King was confined to being photographed together in front of a church door” (Evangelical Theological: An Introduction).
