David Alan Black: Missionary Academic

Like many, I too continue to benefit from David Alan Black’s Learn To Read New Testament Greek, which I reviewed here.  But I must ask, Is Dave Black an academic who is also a missionary, or is Dave Black a missionary who is also an academic?  In other words, if he is not in that classroom at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina, he might be on the mission field somewhere in African or Asia, training natives to be better heralds of the gospel of King Jesus.

Then I’m also aware of his profound indebtedness to the Anabaptists and how they have shaped his life and ministry (you may find my review of his Jesus Paradigm here, where expounds on the Anabaptists influence).

Dave Alan Black, thank you for being such a model (you may follow the journeys of Mr. Black online here.).
