How to be Intentional this Christmas?

First, since the first week of November, Christmas music has been playing in my house.  As a family, we are very intentional about this time of year.  Our two children, both under age ten, well, my wife and I have been trying to get them intentional as well.

Second, besides the Christmas music, in our house we talk the coming of Christ, you know, the incarnational distinctive–Emmanuel, “God with us,” and what is all means.

Third, now that Advent has begun, the readings help us to stay Christ-centered–because it’s so easy to be distracted by all the noise and activities of this time of the year.

The holiday stress is unavoidable, but I want as little of it as possible. 😉

Thanks, TC. I need to learn this. I’m so life-as-usual during this season.
