The Maxim of Gregory of Nazianzus

As we journey through Advent and ponder the God-man, Immanuel, “God with us,” consider the following:

For that what He has not assumed He has not healed;

    That is profound and underlines the dynamic of the incarnation, with Christ being fully God and fully man. I have been allocated the sermon in our Christmas Eve Midnight Communion – I might use this.
